Why a bike tour?
On the Málaga Bike Tour you will not only take in all the major monuments and points of interest that Málaga has to offer, but thanks to the bicycle, you will pass through tiny back streets and see pockets of the city that other types of tours simply can’t get to. On Málaga Bike Tours, you will see more in less time, enabling you to pick and choose the places you would most like to visit later at your leisure. The city's historical centre can be very confusing for the first time visitor. With Málaga Bike Tours you won’t get lost and you’ll find out all kinds of interesting stuff along the way, as well as pick up useful tips for the rest of your stay from your knowledgeable guide.
Who is the Málaga Bike tour for?
You don’t have to be Lance Armstrong to take part in ‘the tour’. This leisurely paced four hour tour, just 5 km tour, isn’t the least bit strenuous and is suitable for anyone who knows how to ride a bike. There will be regular, short stops along the way at the various points of interest. The tour passes through mostly paved streets (that are closed to traffic), boulevards and the promenade. There are two short stretches of the tour on small roads.
What kind of bikes are used?
Our bikes are highly comfortable and easy to ride city bikes. They have six speeds and the seat height is easily adjustable. The bikes are fully equipped with racks, lights and a bell.
How safe is the tour?
Safety is our priority!
The majority of the tour takes place on wide boulevards, pedestrianized streets and the promenade. Groups of over 10 people are accompanied by both the guide and an assistant at the back of the group. Helmets are provided and Málaga Bike Tours has the required insurance coverage.
