In an effort to guarantee your safety, the Andalusian government is offering free COVID-19 health insurance for all international visitors to the region.

This insurance is an effort to help restart tourism once travel restrictions ease.

FAQ’s
Who is covered by the insurance?
All international non-resident visitors, with no age restrictions.
(Exclusions include any circumstances known by the insured before travelling).
Is it just for tourists arriving by plane?
No, coverage is for all non-residents that arrive by land, air or sea.
For how long is the insurance in place?
From January 1st to December 31st 2021.
What are the conditions of coverage?
Free COVID-19 insurance is available to non-resident visitors staying in regulated accommodation.
Can you define regulated accommodation?
Hotels, tourist apartments, guesthouses, hostels, apartment hotels, camp sites and country lodges.
What if I get COVID-19 while in Andalusia?
Coverage includes medical and hospitalization costs. (See limits in the attached link).
What happens post- hospitalisation?
Coverage includes costs for extended stays at hotels following hospitalisation or prescribed quarantine.
What if I have to be repatriated?
If repatriation is necessary, coverage includes transportation and repatriation costs to other European and Mediterranean rim countries.
Coverage also includes insured travel companions.
What is covered in case of death?
