For music and photography fans- this is the exhibition for you!
Until March 31st 2021 you can enjoy this collection of rare photos of two of the most important bands in music history: the Beatles and the Rolling Stones.
The photos, shot by the photographers Gered Mankowitzz and Terry O`Neill, were taken during the early days of the music revolution that the two groups started. O’Neill states that the photos are testament to their skills of “being invisible, having patience, and knowing how to combine discretion and public relations.”
Enjoy this unique selection of photos and old film footage that help to dispel the myth of the supposed rivalry between the Beatles and the Rolling Stones.
The exhibition is housed in the Cultural Space of the bull ring La Plaza de Toros La Malagueta, Paseo Reding, 29016 Málaga.
Opening hours are Tuesday to Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5:45 p.m.
Entrance to the exhibition is free.
The cultural centre offers workshops and exhibitions throughout the year. As well as enjoying the exhibitions, it is the perfect chance to take in the impressive architecture of one of the oldest bull rings in Spain, La Malagueta. Finished in 1872, the architectural style is neo- Arabic and the building has a capacity for 40,000 people. Bullfights are held, in general, just once a year, during the feria of Malaga in August, and sometimes on other special occasions.
