Dear guests, friends and colleagues,
Malaga Bike Tours & Rentals by Kay Farrell is open for business and we are all really looking forward to seeing you here in Malaga enjoying one of our guided bike tours or renting our bikes to discover this beautiful city. Your safety and that of our staff is our priority. Therefore, we are ensuring that all the necessary COVID-19 safety measures are in place.
A guided bike tour is not only the perfect way to explore a new city, it also naturally incorporates the required social distancing. During the tours we cycle with a minimum distance of 1.5 metres between riders and during stops for anecdotes and stories we make sure that your guide stands at least 2 meters away from you. Due to this COVID crisis, we have reduced the maximum number of participants on our public bike tours to 15 riders. If you prefer to do a bike tour with just your own friends or family, then our private tour is the perfect option for you. Our bikes are disinfected before and after each use and the guide carries hand gel which may be used by customers during the tour. If you want to wear a helmet during the tour, we have disposable helmet liners available.
At the time of writing, wearing a mask that covers the mouth and nose is obligatory in public places, and yes- even while riding a bike. The only time when masks don’t have to be worn is while sunbathing, swimming, eating or drinking. Children under 6 years old are not required to wear a mask and neither are people who suffer from a health problem which could be aggravated by wearing a mask. A doctors note stating the reason why a mask should not be worn is required.
When entering the shop to check-in for a tour or to rent a bike, of course, masks must be worn and a hand-gel dispenser can be found to the right of the door as you enter the shop. Surfaces of the check-in counter are disinfected before and after each customer.
We have a maximum capacity of three customers in the shop at one time, so we thank you in advance for your patience and understanding in this matter.
If we all do our part, we can still enjoy our beloved biking and help to end this health crisis sooner rather than later.
We hope to see you soon!
Take care everyone!!
